Angel Food Ministries is designed to provide quality food at a low price to anyone that might benefit from such an opportunity. Whether you are struggling nutritionally and/or financially, or you know someone that is, Angel Food Ministries is there to help give you a hand up in meeting such needs.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

For $30.00 (all taxes included), you can order a food box designed to feed a family of four, for a week. The food is not second-hand or out-of-date. It is excellent quality food from name brand and well-known suppliers; and it would cost $55-$80  (plus taxes) if purchased in your local grocery store.   Join in as we celebrate the 11th Anniversary of Angel Food Ministries. Think about this: A total of 34 families were fed in February of 1994. NOW, over 500,000 families were being fed every month, in 43 States. In the first 11 months of 2006, more families have been fed than in the first 11 years of this ministry! Praise the Lord! God has surely blessed this ministry. Stay with us as we continue to grow in this exciting ministry that is occurring across the country. Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit organization located in Monroe, Georgia, that orders, and distributes this food, in bulk, to host sites (such as Maplewood Church of Christ) in now 38 states across the U.S. Each host site distributes this bulk food to local churches and various groups (such as, Maplewood Church of Christ), and outreach ministries and non-profit organizations, which then distribute these items as "food boxes" for the individual orders. Special food arrangements and volunteer help keep these costs so very low.

ANYONE CAN PURCHASE AN ANGEL FOOD MINISTRIES FOOD BOX!

There are no special qualifications, and no limits on the number of food boxes that you can purchase. You can purchase a food box for yourself, for a friend, for a group, for any family you know in need. This ministry is simply here to help with money saving and nutritional needs. Help us by telling your families, friends, neighbors and co-workers about this opportunity. We accept EBT (Food Stamps) on Monday & Thursday mornings in the office between 10:00AM & 12:00 noon Unfortunately - You can NOT use your EBT Card when ordering ON-LINE! (at this time.)

Our ministry’s main “mission” is SERVICE & OUTREACH through addressing financial and nutritional needs of the Sulphur and surrounding communities. We also want you to know that the Maplewood Church of Christ is a church body that cares; that we are led by Jesus Christ and his example; and that we can, through our belief in Jesus Christ; be a source of healing lives physically, emotionally, financially and most of all spiritually. If you are MAILING an order to the church office, it MUST BE RECEIVED in the office by NOON on the Friday "CUT-OFF DATE" listed on the ORDER FORM for the CURRENT month. Please remember the staffed church office hours are 9:00am to 12:00 Noon, Monday thru Friday. NOW for you "LAST MINUTE Procrastinators- You can ORDER On-LINE 24 Hours a day, thru the folloowing MONDAY NOON (after the date shown on the current month order form.) Late Orders are possible and are welcome. You are invited to any of our church worship services on Sunday and bring your order and payment. Orders not received by mail before noon on the Friday cutoff date, or receive in the Drop Slot ON the following Sunday, will not be processed for the current month. REMEMBER, we have added a "Drop Slot" in the front door of the church building for your after office hours Angel Food orders.
